|Further information:||This plasmid was constructed as follows : the NcoI-SacI fragment of pATTrpMTNF (containing part of mouse TNF), was inserted into the NcoI-SacI sites of pPLcmuMHTNF14, replacing the corresponding fragment of hybrid mouse-human TNF.
pPLcmuMHTNF5 is designed for a PL-controlled expression of intracellular mature human-mouse hybrid TNF.
If restriction analyses reveals an approx. 1600 bp shorter plasmid as described, its parent supposedly is derived from a pPLc245HTNF-plasmid and not from pPLcmuHTNF.
Other names of the plasmid are MH5 and pPLc245-MH5.
