Cloned DNA: Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium tryptophan synthetase A gene (trpA)
Promoter: Phage λ major leftward promoter (λ PL)
binding site:
Terminator: -
Selection marker: Ampicillin (amp)
Replicon: Escherichia coli plasmid pMB1 origin
Host range: Escherichia coli; use strains with a cI function, cIts for PL controlled expression
Parental clone: pPLc236; pES9
Further information: This plasmid was constructed by inserting the EcoRI-SalI fragment from pES9 between the EcoRI and SalI sites of pPLc236. This fragment contains the Salmonella typhimurium tryptophan synthetase A gene (trpA) as well as the larger part of the S. typhimurium trpB gene, missing its translation initiation region.
The nucleotide sequence of the S. typhimurium fragment corresponds with the Genbank accession number NC_003197.1.
Other name of the plasmid is pST23TrpA11.
EMBL Accession number: NC_003197.1, view at EMBL, GenBank, DDBJ
