Plasmid name: pPLa832 (LMBP 341)
|Price category:||Cat. 1 (cf. price list)|
|Status:||GeneCorner non-core plasmid|
|Promoter:||Phage λ major leftward promoter (λ PL)|
|Selection marker:||Kanamycin (kan)|
|Replicon:||Escherichia coli plasmid ColE1 origin|
|Host range:||Escherichia coli; use strains with a cI function, cIts for PL controlled expression|
|Further information:||As compared to pPLa2311, this plasmid provides no resistance to ampicillin.
This plasmid was designed for expression of fragments containing a ribosome binding site functional in E. coli.
Expression sites: BaII, BamHI, EcoRI, FspI and HindIII. There are two HindIII and two BamHI sites in the polylinker downstream from the λ PL promoter. A third HindIII site is located in the kanamycin resistance gene.
Other name of the plasmid is pHS32.
