Genecorner:

-

Cloned DNA: -
Promoter: Aspergillus nidulans glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase promoter (gpdA)
Ribosome
binding site:
-
Terminator: Aspergillus nidulans tryptophan C terminator (trpC)
Selection marker: Neomycin (neo; kanamycin (kan))
Hygromycin (hyg)
Replicon: Escherichia coli plasmid pMB1 origin
Pseudomonas plasmid pVS1 origin
Host range: Escherichia coli
Fusarium sp.
Ascomycete fungi
Parental clone: pAN7-1; pPZP201BK
Further information: The plasmid was created by cloning the 4 kb hygromycin resistance cassette from pAN7-1 as a BglII/HindIII fragment into the BamHI/HindIII opened pPZP201BK vector.
The nucleotide sequence of the gdpA promoter corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number M33539.1.
The nucleotide sequences of the trpC promoter and terminator correspond with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number X02390.1.
Since the nucleotide sequence of the pPK2 vector could not be completely traced back, there is uncertainty as to the cutting frequency of the restriction enzymes, except for the sites that were analysed in the authenticity test.
EMBL Accession number: M33539.1, view at EMBL, GenBank, DDBJ
X02390.1, view at EMBL, GenBank, DDBJ
Latest sequence update: 14/01/2013
Authenticity test: Restriction enzyme pattern analysed at GeneCorner: EcoRV/HindIII, NotI and PvuI.

As compared to the compiled nucleotide sequence file, there appear to be 2 extra PvuI sites.
