Cloned DNA: Human guanylate cyclase 1 soluble subunit alpha 1 cDNA (GUCY1A1, GC-SA3, GUC1A3, GUCY1A3, sGCA1, GeneID 2982)
Promoter: -
Ribosome
binding site:
-
Terminator: Phage fd terminator
Selection marker: Ampicillin (amp)
Replicon: Escherichia coli plasmid pMB1 origin
Phage f1 origin
Host range: Escherichia coli
Parental clone: pMA9-8
Further information: The plasmid was constructed by inserting the human sGCA1 coding sequence between the SmaI and XbaI sites of pMa9-8. pMa9-8 is a pMa58 derivative with the PstI site of the ampicillin resistance gene removed.
After mutagenesis, use mutS strains for primary transformation (e.g. sup(-) strain WK6mutS, sup(+) strain BMH71-18mutS); for segregation of possible mutants: sup(-) strains (e.g. WK6).
The nucleotide sequence of the hsGCA1 cDNA corresponds with the Genbank accession number NM_000856.5.
Other name of the plasmid is pMa9-hsGCα1.
